Esraa Abdel Fattah: ‘Every revolution needs an alternative.’

As Facebook Girl she gained worldwide fame as one of the faces of a new Egypt and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

In an extraordinary encounter she explains the importance of having an alternative when an old system is being overthrown. She talks about the role of fear and why it is crucial for everybody to realize how big our power truly is: ‘There is a future for you, for young people. Maybe it won’t come soon. Maybe we have to wait for it for a long time. But I am sure young people will achieve their goals if they keep pursuing them, and keep believing in them.’
